Hey parents and students!

We will be sending home progress reports this upcoming Monday, October 5th.  Attached to your child’s progress report will be a letter regarding parent teacher conferences scheduled for Thursday and Friday (Oct 8-9) of next week.  Attached will be a sheet for you to sign up for whatever time slot works best for yourself on either day.  We understand that many of you won’t be able to attend because of various reasons (aka “life”), but we sincerely encourage all of you to come and chat with us at LF if you can. 

Also–just a reminder that next Thursday, Oct. 8th, is the fund-raiser Mega-Party day for those students who sold at least one box of candy.  And there is no school on Friday the 9th.  Then comes Fall Break (October 12-16).  This year is going by too fast!!!!

September 7th — Memorial Day…STAY HOME!

September 8th — PTO/Open House at 6:30

September 16-19 — Spirit Week at LFMS

September 18th — First Report Cards Issued

• REMINDER — The candy fundraiser will be ending soon.  If you still have money out then please return that to your child’s homeroom teacher as soon as possible.  Thanks.

This Friday, October 31st:

1-Ends the six week grading period—report cards go out next week!

2-Character day- Seventh graders may dress up as characters from a science fiction/fantasy book.

3-Building 8 Behavior Reward Day- Students who have not received O.S.S., I.S.S., and had fewer than 3 detentions are eligible to participate.

Our Building will participate in Operation Christmas Child.  Your child’s homeroom teacher will be telling them more about items to bring in.

Field Trip Money is due this Friday, October 31st, or you risk losing your spot on the trip!!!
